IMPORTANT Ė STORM DEBRIS INFO
We know youíve been working hard to clean up the remnants of Hurricane Irma, and we want to help address some of the questions you may be wondering about.†
If a tree has fallen into the Associationís roadway and/or onto common area, the Associationís landscape company, Frank Garcia Landscaping, Inc., will remove all debris from those areas only.† Any debris located on an individual lot will be the responsibility of that private property owner. ††
If a tree limb or debris has fallen onto your property from another individualís property, the portion that has fallen onto your property is your responsibility.† The neighbor to whom the tree belongs might be willing to assist, but the general rule is that you are responsible for everything within your property lines.† You may not dump or place any fallen materials onto anotherís property.† Please be sure to verify with your insurance agent if you have questions or concerns.†
AS POSTED ON THE SEMINOLE COUNTY WEBSITE:
SMALL STORM DEBRIS
What: Bagged leaves, clippings, palm fronds, pine cones, rakeable brush
Pick-up Day: WEDNESDAY OR SATURDAY
Limit: 5 bag limit/50 pounds each
***Haulers will make every effort to collect up to five (5) bags of small yard debris on Wednesdays and Saturdays.† If they cannot get to your bags initially, they will collect them on the next scheduled pick-up day.†
LARGE, BULKY STORM DEBRIS
What: Large branches, tree trunks, root balls, bushes, fence panels, other bulky storm debris
Pick-up Day: ANTICIPATED TO BEGIN WEEK OF 9/16 (this is COUNTY-WIDE and not specific to Heathrow Woods)

Large debris can be bundled with rope, please do not bag.†

DUE TO THE MAGNITUDE OF DEBRIS COUNTY-WIDE, MULTIPLE CONTRACTORS HAVE BEEN ENGAGED TO EXPEDITE THIS PROCESS.† SEMINOLE COUNTY GOVERNMENT APPRECIATES YOUR PATIENCE, AS IT WILL TAKE SEVERAL WEEKS TO ACCOMPLISH DEBRIS REMOVAL.
For additional questions about debris pick-up by Seminole County, please visit their website at www.seminolecountyfl.gov/irma or call (407) 665-0000.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work together to restore the beauty of our community!
